Truly vintage tribal rug pillow

Woven in the mountains of Afghanistan, this rare, ethnic handmade textile began over 100 years ago as a small prayer rug. Plant-dye colors of dark red, amber and grey highlight the authentic origin. The original workmanship remains but this is a well loved textile with imperfect areas. Zoom in for detail. Woven cord trim, Velcro close, cotton damask back of soft gold.
