Aubusson bowl of roses pillow

This is a rare and spectacular display of pink roses done in the European weaving called Aubusson. That is an area of France where weavers pride themselves in precise and detailed work in wool threads. We were lucky to find this piece from an estate, estimated 1890s. We’ve framed it with 4-tone braid fringe and backed the pillow with cream silk.  Velcro closure, poly filled.  20” X 20” SKU #667
