Indian Handwork Pillow/Bolster

Directly from London where these fragments of amazingly detailed patchwork of yarn, mirrors, ribbons and cord were found at an antique dealer’s small shop. They become pieces of art. But, look again. There are stylized birds, flowers and churches, worked into beige cotton. Hand-dyed cotton in rust, red, green, yellow, trimmed with perfect two-color braid piping from our collection of one-of-a-kind trims. This bolster is timeless, worldly but trendy at the same time. Poly filled, velcro close. 14” X 24”
