These super charming pillows came from estate pieces that had been hooked. The craft of hooking originated in England and traveled to America over 200 years ago. Thick floor covering was needed for those Eastern seaboard villages. Materials used originally were just scraps of fabric cut evenly, looped, and pulled through burlap or linen.
